This BMW E9 was first registered on December 9, 1972. Originally built as a 3.0 CS, it was comprehensively converted to CSI specification during its first restoration in the early 2000s. The last owner acquired the vehicle in 2020 and decided to subject it to a complete nut-and-bolt restoration, carried out by E9 specialist Scuderia Sportiva Colonia. Between 2022 and 2025, the BMW was fully disassembled and rebuilt down to the last screw. It was repainted in its original BMW color Anthracite Metallic (055), and the following enhancements were made:

• Engine tuning to 240 hp (Version I) with programmable injection system
• 123 electronic ignition

Ce BMW E9 a été immatriculé pour la première fois le 9 décembre 1972. Il s'agissait à l'origine d'un 3.0 CS, transformé en CSI lors d'une restauration complète au début des années 2000.
